Currently living and working in Paris

Roxane Cadieu is a french artist living between south west of France and Paris. Since five years, she explores mostly ceramic through diverses techniques. After studying at Design Academy Eindhoven, she extanded her learning in the field of ceramic by working with artists, craftmen and designers mostly in Paris. During the past years, she is developing her practice by exploring materials as an object containance, and especially it capacities to spread light by adding fire element. Constantly inspired by the context she is merged in, she is looking at the way she can translate an intimate and soft experience through a material form that is relevant. Roxane approach than both craft and experimentation in order to explore the dialogue between sculptural installation and functionnal objects.

Currently in Paris, Roxane is actually focusing on developing new skills by learning the throwing-wheel in her workshop. She is also regulary participating to courses with different ceramists in order to explore diverses approaches. Expositions
